SSCF to host Blood Drive to commemorate Vaisakhi on 4/19

As COVID-19 pandemic has heightened the need for continuous blood supply in our communities, SSCF has decided to commemorate “Khalsa Sirjana Diwas (Vaisakhi)” by organizing a blood drive to help our local blood banks. We have partnered with “OneBlood” to organize a blood drive for this Sunday, April 19, 2020 starting from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Sadh Sangat Ji this is a historic opportunity for us to make this Vaisakhi special in this unprecedentedly difficult time by participating in the blood drive. We encourage donors to make an appointment by using the link below, but walk-ins are welcome. https://donor.oneblood.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/929021

As a friendly reminder, the incentives that every donor will receive a thank you gift are:

- Free Wellness Checkup including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, iron count and cholesterol screening
- Free ONEBLOOD t-shirt and $20 Gift Card

Social Distancing at Blood Drives: At blood drives, only a certain number of people will be permitted on the bus at any one time. Donors will be asked to provide their cell phone number so they can wait in their car. They will be called when it is their turn to donate blood. As an additional safety measure, OneBlood is asking people who have traveled outside of the United States to self-defer from donating blood for 30 days upon returning.
