In September 2025, the Sikh Society of Central Florida (SSCF), in collaboration with Khalsa Aid USA – Florida Chapter, proudly organized a Back-to-School Drive at Oviedo Gurdwara Sahib to support local Seminole County Public School students.

This community-driven initiative brought together volunteers, families, and youth from across Central Florida with one shared mission — to ensure that every child starts the school year prepared and confident. The event reflected the Sikh values of seva (selfless service) and sarbat da bhala (welfare of all), emphasizing giving back to the wider community regardless of faith or background.
